| The necessity for residents to travel outside our region for things not readily available in our immediate area has always been a challenge. There was a local doctor in the area back in the old days but many residents of this region would gather herbs and native plants to create their own medicines. The doctor could not always be found when you needed him. Always consult a trained health professional when using or considering using herbal remedies. They do not always mix well with common pharmaceuticals. |
